Darby Island Research Station welcomed its first visiting scientists in September: Gudrun Radke, Wiesbaden Germany; Stjepko Golubic, University of Boston; and Jamie Foster, University of Florida. Stromatolite samples were collected and the microscopes got a good workout. The focus of the research was microboring, a specialty of Radke and Golubic! A great start to research activities at Darby Island!
